Physicians, providers and staff of The Medical Group are genuinely committed to providing quality service in all that we do for patients. To this end, our practice is actively engaged in shaping, controlling and monitoring the quality of service through a variety of efforts:
- Quality Committee — a group of physicians, providers and staff meet monthly to review quality, discuss activities, and develop recommendations on improvements.
- Electronic Medical Records — The Medical Group was one of the early adopters of electronic medical records (EMR), realizing the potential enhancement to patient care and follow-up. Recently the practice acquired a more advanced EMR, which permits broader use of information as needed to provide timely quality care even when providers are out of the office responding to patient needs.
- Listen to Patients — suggestions, problems and complaints are brought to the attention of senior management. Patient perspectives and expectations are taken seriously and are translated into action. We appreciate hearing from patients. You are invited to complete the patient survey provided on this website for convenience of response.
- Patient Care Teams — primary care providers and staff have been formed into teams dedicated to patients of physicians within our practice. Patients are given speedy telephone access to their Teams. The basic objective of each team is to be responsive and personal in meeting the needs and expectations of the patients.
- Adding Services — a multispecialty practice is conceived to give patients a comprehensive care system; physicians working together, sharing a common medical record, and collaborating on patients’ medical care. The practice also has a wide range of services to provide the convenience of broader care for patients at a single office. For example, Coagulation Clinic to monitor patients on blood thinners, Diabetes Education to provide structured knowledge and support, and Health Empowerment Program involving patients in a multidimensional approach to addressing weight management.
We continually strive to improve in every regard—operational and clinical—in order to better serve our patients.
